1. Robolinux now supports the newest version of VirtualBox 4.3.6 which has Webcam sharing and many new improvements.
2. The Robolinux V7.4.1 Windows Virtual Machine Installers had to be completely re-written to support VirtualBox 4.3.6
3. All Robolinux versions prior to 7.4.1 do not work with the newest
Robolinux Virtual Machine Installers and Stealth VM Software Tools.
Therefore all previous VM Support Pack downloads have been discontinued.
Users are advised to upgrade to Robolinux version 7.4.1 if they have not already downloaded the older VM Support Pack versions.
4. Completely new Robolinux V7.4.1 Stealth VM Software Tools have been
released and may be downloaded after making a very small donation.

Robo linux PC & laptop System Requirements
1. Your PC or laptop needs to be in working condition and have at least

You need a minimum total of 1GB of RAM in your Windows XP machine. i.e.

virtual machine called a "VM". If you have 2GB of RAM in your machine
then use 1GB of RAM for Robolinux and 1GB of RAM for the Windows XP VM.
For a PC or laptop with Windows 7:
You need a minimum total of 3GB of RAM in your Windows 7 machine. i.e.
Use 1GB of RAM for Robolinux and 2GB of RAM for the Windows 7 virtual
machine "VM". If you have 4GB of RAM in your machine then use 1GB of RAM
for Robolinux and 3GB of RAM for the Windows XP VM.
BIOS & CPU Requirements: Your PC or laptop BIOS must provide support
for virtualization and must have at least a dual core CPU if you want
to run standard resolution Windows games smoothly. All other regular
programs like Microsoft Office run perfectly on a single core processor
running Robolinux and a Windows VM, but If you run Windows games inside a
Robolinux virtual machine that only has one processor it will be slow
and you will not be satisfied. This is because games require more
processing power than regular software programs do.
3. You cannot run high end 3D graphics Windows games or Movie Studio
quality HD Editing software inside ANY virtual machine, including the
Robolinux VM. These graphics hungry programs require full access to your
large and expensive graphics card. Instead you must set up a dual boot
system. ie. Windows runs standalone in its own partition and Robolinux
runs standalone in its own partition as well. Then you choose which one
you want to boot up: Windows or Robolinux.
4. Your PC or laptop must have been manufactured within the last 8 years (2006 to 2014)
Please note: Some older PC's & laptops have a BIOS that do not
support virtual machines or need to be updated or flashed. Please
contact your Hardware Manufacturer if you need help because your PC or
laptop's BIOS is not working with Virtualization.
5. If you have purchased an old salvaged PC or laptop, please make sure
that it is in 100% working condition before you install Robolinux.
For example: A broken wifi card cannot work with a wifi driver unless it is replaced.
The easy solution: We recommend a high quality tiny USB Wireless device
you can buy for approximately $20 or less. Please email Robolinux for a
Make & Model# you can Just plug into any USB port and it will run
flawlessly in Robolinux.
6. If you own a brand new high end expensive dual slot gaming graphics
card, be sure to first send an eMail to Robolinux with the make and
model# of the graphics card before you place your order so that we can
make sure that it is 100% compatible with Robolinux. i.e It must be 100%
supported by a factory available Linux driver.
7. Please note that Robolinux provides Phone, eMail & Chat support
for its operating system. We do not provide any support for Microsoft or
any 3rd party Windows software programs.
8. You can also email Robolinux the make and model number of your PC or laptop so that we can tell you if it is compatible.
